Osborne Reynolds Day

ERCOFTAC, are very pleased to invite you to the next Osborne Reynolds Day, held on 19 June 2026 in the School of Engineering at the The University of Manchester.

This annual national event, is one of the most prestigious gatherings in Fluid Dynamics, showcasing the latest research, innovation and development in fluid mechanics.

As part of this event, we also run a competition for all current PhD‐registered students or doctoral graduates from a UK university whose finalised PhD thesis was approved by the examiners after 1st June 2025. The winners will be awarded cash prizes and commemorative plaques. Please submit your short abstracts by 10 Apr 2026.
