Herbert Huppert – LIFD colloquium and lunch

Professor Herbert Huppert will be giving a talk on Wednesday 2^nd November.

A catered lunch will be held in the Electrical Engineering foyer 1pm-2pm

The talk will then be held in Electrical Engineering Keysight Technologies Lecture Theatre (1.52) 2pm-3pm

Herbert has been Professor of Theoretical Geophysics and Foundation Director, Institute of Theoretical Geophysics, at the University of Cambridge, since 1989 and Fellow of King’s College, Cambridge, since 1970. He has published using fluid-mechanical principles in applications to the Earth sciences: in meteorology, oceanography and geology.
