UK Fluid Dynamics community away day

The Leeds Institute for Fluid Dynamics was pleased to support and host this event and see some of the great ideas coming out of the UK Fluids Community on Friday (~40 attendees). The lego approach definitely helped stir the creative juices and bring everyone's perspectives into the mix.

Ignazio Maria Viola "Last Friday, we held a wonderful community away day of the UK fluids community to discuss the next steps after the success of the UK Fluids Network. The event was hosted by the Leeds Institute for Fluid Dynamics at Leeds and moderated by Dr Simone Dimartino, who helped share ideas and build a shared vision with nothing less than LEGO SERIOUS PLAY! This was my first experience with this Lego technique, and I loved it. The away day was very successful, and we will share the outcomes with the whole community in the next few weeks. Many thanks to some key enablers, including Prof. Matthew Juniper, Prof. Catherine Noakes, Prof. Steven Tobias and the EPSRC.
