We are delighted to invite you to the next two talks in our Inspiring Innovation seminar series. This series showcases real-life examples of the innovation journeys taken by other researchers or external speakers. This provides valuable insights into the steps taken to move a new idea or discovery arising from basic research through to implementation in a real-world setting for economic and/or societal benefit. It also gives you the opportunity to meet and network with a range of innovation active researchers and external speakers.

Each talk will last 15 min followed by 15 min for Q&A.

Monday 3rd April (12 noon)
Professor Doug Parker (School of Earth and Environment)

“FASTA: Seeking sustainability for African rainfall information services through private sector funding”

&

Professor Janet Cade (School of Food Science and Nutrition)
