Early-mid career researchers are invited to take part in an innovative programme to build your networks across three flagship Centres/Institutes at Leeds: Bragg Centre for Materials Research; Leeds Institute of Fluid Dynamics; Priestley International Centre for Climate.

It is designed to introduce researchers to new ways of thinking and working, with the ultimate goal of creating long-term collaborations. The Crucible consists of a series of 3 x 2-day residential workshops called Labs. Each Lab involves some facilitated sessions, speakers and time to collaborate.

You must have a minimum of three years post-doctoral experience, be employed by the University of Leeds until at least July 2023 and be able to commit to attending all three Labs on the following dates:

19 & 20 September 2022;
